Preparation

  • Clear a flat, clean surface to work on.
  • Gather all materials to keep them within arm’s reach.

Mixing

  • In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of glue and 1/2 cup of water.
  • Stir until fully blended and the mixture is smooth.

Adding Cornstarch

  • Gradually add 1 cup of cornstarch to the glue mixture.
  • Mix thoroughly until the dough starts to come together.

Incorporating Additional Elements

  • If desired, add food coloring and mix until the color is evenly distributed.
  • Add 1 tablespoon of lemon juice and mix well to ensure it’s incorporated.

Kneading

  • Lightly coat your hands with non-stick spray or vegetable oil to prevent sticking.
  • Knead the dough with your hands for several minutes until smooth and elastic.

Shaping

  • Roll the dough into small balls, about the size of a marble.
  • Squeeze and bounce to test the bouncy quality!

Notes

Experiment with different food coloring and essential oils for added aromas. Incorporate fun sparkles for a festive touch! Store in an airtight container to maintain its bounciness longer.
