Preparation

  • Gather all your materials and set up your workspace. Clear any unnecessary clutter.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the baking soda, citric acid, and corn starch. Stir well to create a fine powder.
  • In a separate container, mix together the water and oil. If using, add a few drops of essential oils for fragrance.
  • Slowly pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients while stirring constantly, until it resembles dough.
  • Divide the dough into portions and knead in food coloring until the desired color is achieved.
  • Transfer the bubble bath dough into an airtight container and let it sit for a few hours to firm up.

Notes

For added texture, consider mixing in biodegradable glitter or dried flower petals. Store in an airtight container for best results.
