Preparation

  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together the baking soda, citric acid, cornstarch, and Epsom salt until thoroughly mixed.
  • Slowly incorporate the essential oil into the mixture, stirring well to distribute the scent evenly.
  • If you’d like your bubble bath dough to have a fun hue, add a few drops of food coloring and mix thoroughly until the color is uniform.
  • Gradually add water, one tablespoon at a time, mixing continuously until the mixture holds together like dough.
  • Transfer the bubble bath dough into an airtight container and store in a cool, dry place.

Notes

Consider adding dried flowers or herbs for extra visual appeal. This also makes a great DIY gift.
