Preparation

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine 2 cups of baking soda and 2 cups of cornstarch. Stir until well mixed, creating a fluffy white base.
  • Gradually pour in 1 cup of water and 1 cup of liquid soap. Mix thoroughly until the dough starts to form and clumps together.
  • If you want to add color, include a few drops of food coloring and knead until evenly distributed.
  • For a delightful smell, add a few drops of essential oil and mix well.
  • Once mixed, you can mold the dough into fun shapes or just enjoy squishing it with your hands. Note: The dough should be pliable but not too sticky. If it feels wet, add a little more cornstarch.

Storage

  • Place the finished bubble bath dough in an airtight container to keep it fresh for your next bath time.

Notes

Try using different essential oils for varying effects, blend different colors, or add biodegradable glitter for extra sparkle. This dough can last up to a month when stored properly.
