  • 1 cup liquid soap Dish soap works great; avoid those with added moisturizers.
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil Adds smoothness to the dough.
  • Food coloring Optional for customizing the color.

Preparation

  • In a mixing bowl, combine 2 cups of flour and 1/2 cup of cornstarch. Stir well using a whisk or spoon to ensure they’re mixed thoroughly.
  • In a separate container, mix together 1 cup of water and 1 cup of liquid soap. If desired, add a few drops of food coloring and stir until you achieve your desired color.

Combining Ingredients

  • Gradually pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients while mixing continuously until a dough forms.
  • You may want to use your hands for the final mixing to ensure everything is well combined.

Kneading

  • Knead the dough in the bowl for about 2-3 minutes until it becomes smooth and pliable.

Storage

  • Transfer your bubble dough to an airtight container. Store it in a cool, dry place for up to a week.

Notes

Consider adding essential oils for fragrance. Experiment with color mixing to make unique hues or tie-dye effects.
