  • 1 count Plastic bottle (empty and clean) A standard 16-20 oz plastic soda or water bottle works best.
  • 1 count Scissors For cutting the bottle.
  • 2 tablespoons Dish soap Higher-quality dish soaps typically produce better bubbles.
  • 1 cup Water Combine with dish soap for the bubble mixture.
  • optional Food coloring Add for colorful bubbles.
  • 1 count Small towel or washcloth Acts as the bubble wand.
  • 1 count Bowl or shallow dish For mixing the bubble solution.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Use scissors to cut the bottom off the plastic bottle to create a tube shape.
  • In a bowl or shallow dish, mix 1 cup of water with 2 tablespoons of dish soap. Optionally, add a few drops of food coloring.

Assembly

  • Cover the cut end of the bottle with a small towel or washcloth. Secure it with a rubber band if necessary.

Creating Bubbles

  • Dip the towel-covered end into the bubble mixture and allow it to soak.
  • Bring the bubble blower to your lips and blow gently to create bubbles.
  • Experiment with blowing harder or softer to see how it affects bubble size.

Notes

Try different soaps for various bubble effects. Adding essential oils can enhance the experience, and make it a fun game to create the largest bubble snake.
