Ingredients
  

Materials

  • 1 each Plastic water bottle (empty and clean)
  • 1 each Scissors
  • 1 each Sock (an old, clean one will work)
  • 1 part Dish soap
  • 2 parts Water
  • a few drops each Food coloring (optional) For colorful bubble snakes
  • 1 each Shallow container or plate

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Cut the bottom off the plastic bottle with scissors.
  • Stretch the sock over the cut end of the bottle, ensuring it covers the opening completely.

Mix the Bubble Solution

  • In a shallow container, mix 1 part dish soap with 2 parts water.
  • For a fun twist, add a few drops of food coloring to your solution, swirling gently.

Start Blowing

  • Dip the sock-covered end of the bottle into the bubble solution.
  • To create bubble snakes, gently blow through the mouthpiece.
  • Watch as colorful bubbles form and create a long, snaky shape!

Notes

You can customize the socks used for different textures or swap materials by using a small cup or paper towel tube. Mixing multiple colors of food coloring can create a rainbow effect in the bubbles.
