  • 2/3 jar Water Filtered for clarity is nice.
  • various grams Glitter or colored sand Easy to find in craft stores.
  • a few drops Liquid glue or clear school glue This helps to slow the glitter.
  • optional drops Food coloring or liquid watercolors For extra vibrancy.
  • various Small figurines or beads For a personal touch, if you desire.
  • 1 piece A spoon for stirring Feel the smoothness in your grasp.
  • 1 piece A small funnel or measuring cup To keep things tidy.

Preparation

  • Start by cleaning your jar thoroughly.
  • Pour water into the jar, filling it about two-thirds full.
  • Add a few drops of glue to help the glitter settle gently.
  • Sprinkle in your glitter or colored sand.
  • If using food coloring, add a drop or two for that extra splash of color.
  • Stir the mixture slowly with your spoon.
  • If you wish, drop in your small figurines or beads.
  • Secure the lid onto the jar tightly.
  • Give it a good shake and watch as the colors blend and glitter dances.

Notes

You can refill the jar with fresh water and glitter as needed. It's a soothing aid that can evolve with you.
