Instructions
Prepare Your Workspace
- Clear a flat surface and cover it with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
- Gather all your materials to ensure you have everything within reach.
Melt the Candy Melts
- Place different colored candy melts in separate bowls.
- Microwave each bowl in 30-second intervals until melted and smooth, stirring between each interval.
Create the Butterfly Wings
- Using a piping bag or squeeze bottle, pipe the shape of butterfly wings onto the parchment paper.
- Tip: Make sure to create two identical wing shapes for each butterfly.
- Add edible glitter while the candy is still warm for a sparkly finish.
Assemble Your Butterflies
- Once the wings have cooled and hardened, gently peel them off the parchment paper.
- To create the body, melt a contrasting color of candy melt and pipe a small oval shape between the two wings, adhering them together.
