  • 1 optional Hole punch To create a hole for hanging

Instructions

Preparation

  • Find a flat, clean surface to work on.
  • Gather all your materials to ensure you have everything on hand.

Cutting

  • Use scissors to cut the tissue paper or plastic sheets into small squares or shapes.
  • Experiment with sizes; smaller shapes will create more intricate designs.

Gluing

  • Using a paintbrush, apply a thin layer of transparent glue on one side of the CD.
  • Be generous with the glue but avoid making it too thick.

Decorating

  • Stick the cut tissue paper pieces onto the glued surface of the CD.
  • Overlap pieces for a more colorful effect; arrange them to your liking.

Sealing

  • Once you’ve covered the CD, apply another layer of glue on top to seal the tissue paper.
  • Let it dry thoroughly—this could take a few hours.

Hanging

  • If you want to hang your suncatcher, use a hole punch to create a hole at the top.
  • Thread the string or fishing line through the hole and tie a knot.

Displaying

  • Find a sunny window to hang your beautiful suncatcher.
  • Enjoy the dazzling light reflections!
