  • 1 roll Transparent adhesive tape To seal the design.

  • 3 colors Permanent markers or paint In various colors for decorating.
  • 1 piece String or fishing wire For hanging the suncatcher.
  • Optional: Glitter, stickers, or additional embellishments For personal customization.

Preparation

  • Take an old CD and clean it to remove any dust or fingerprints. Place it shiny side up on a flat surface.

Decoration

  • Use permanent markers or paint to create swirly designs, patterns, or images on the shiny side of the CD.
  • Let your creativity shine—add glitter or stickers for an extra splash of personality!

Finishing Touches

  • Cover your artwork with transparent adhesive tape to seal it and give it a polished look. This also makes the design more durable.
  • Cut a piece of string or fishing wire and punch a small hole near the top of the CD or use glue to attach the string for hanging.

Display

  • Find a sunny window and hang your Suncatcher. Watch the sunlight illuminate your creation, casting beautiful rainbows across the room!

Notes

Tips: Use glass paints for a different finish, include themed stickers for occasions, and try various sizes for your designs. Add glow-in-the-dark paint for a fun twist for nighttime visibility.
