  • 1 pack Transparent craft tissue paper (or colored cellophane) Various colors enhance the suncatcher.
  • 1 Scissors (smooth for easy cutting)
  • 1 tube Craft glue (or Mod Podge for a glossy finish) Choose selon the desired finish.
  • 1 String or fishing line For hanging the suncatcher.
  • Optional Glitter For added sparkle.

  • Prepare Your Workspace: Find a calming space where you can focus. Lay out your materials and take a moment to breathe deeply.
  • Cut Tissue Paper: Use scissors to cut the tissue paper into various shapes like squares, circles, or even abstract snippets.

Assembly

  • Glue the Pieces: Spread a thin layer of glue on one side of the CD and place the tissue paper pieces onto the glue, creating a pattern.
  • Add a Layer of Glue: Coat the entire surface with another layer of glue to seal in the paper and add shine.
  • Attach String: While the glue is still wet, create a small loop with the string or fishing line at the top for hanging.

Finishing Touches

  • Let It Dry: Set your CD suncatcher in a safe place to dry completely.
  • Find a Spot to Hang: Once dry, hang your suncatcher in a sunny window and enjoy the light illuminating your design.
