Preparation

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour and salt.
  • Add the vegetable oil and mix well.

Prepare the Cooking Mixture

  • In a pot, combine water, cream of tartar, and food coloring.
  • Heat the mixture on medium until warm, then pour it over the dry ingredients.

Cook the Dough

  • Stir the mixture with a whisk until it thickens.
  • Once it pulls away from the sides of the pot, knead it briefly in the bowl until smooth and elastic.

Add Scents

  • Add a few drops of essential oils to the warm dough and knead until fully incorporated.

Cool and Store

  • Allow the bubble dough to cool completely.

Notes
