  • 1 cup Liquid dish soap For best foaming results, use liquid dish soap.
  • 1 cup Water Room temperature water is recommended.
  • 2 tablespoons Corn syrup Can substitute with glycerin if needed.

Optional Additions

  • as needed Food coloring (various colors) Add different colors for a festive touch.
  • as needed Essential oils Optional for scent customization.

  • 1 Hand mixer or whisk
  • 1 Baking tray or shallow container For holding the foam.

Preparation

  • Set up a flat surface and lay down a tablecloth or newspaper to catch spills.
  • Gather all ingredients and tools needed for the project.

Mix the Ingredients

  • In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of liquid dish soap and 1 cup of water.
  • Stir in 2 tablespoons of corn syrup gently to avoid creating bubbles.
  • Add a few drops of food coloring and essential oils if using, and mix until well combined.

Whip Up the Foam

  • Using a hand mixer or whisk, beat the mixture until it forms a thick foam.
  • Notice the bubbling and foaming action as you mix.

Create Your Fun

  • Spoon the foam into a baking tray or shallow container.
  • Use cookie cutters to create festive shapes or explore the bubbly texture with your hands.

Notes

Experiment with colors and scents for unique foams. Sprinkle glitter on top for added sparkle. The foam is best enjoyed fresh, but it usually lasts a couple of hours before deflating.
