  • 1 roll Empty toilet paper rolls These serve as the base for the elf.
  • 1 sheet Colored construction paper (green, red, skin tone) Used for the elf's body, face, and hat.
  • 1 item Scissors For cutting paper.
  • 1 stick Glue stick or craft glue To adhere different parts together.
  • 1 set Markers or crayons For decorating the elf.
  • optional Googly eyes For adding facial features.
  • optional Mini pom-poms or cotton balls For decoration.
  • optional Glitter For embellishments.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Start with a clean, empty toilet paper roll.
  • Cut a small piece of construction paper to wrap around the roll for the elf’s body.

Making the Face

  • Cut out a circle from skin-tone construction paper for the face.
  • Glue the face onto one end of the roll.
  • Add googly eyes or draw eyes with markers and a smile.

Creating the Hat

  • Cut a triangle from green or red construction paper for the elf’s hat.
  • Roll the triangle into a cone shape and secure it with glue.
  • Attach the hat to the top of the roll.

Adding Arms and Legs

  • Cut two elongated strips from your colored paper for arms and glue them on either side of the body.
  • Cut strips for legs and glue mini pom-poms at the end or draw shoes.

Final Decorations

  • Use markers, glitter, and additional colored paper to decorate your elf.
  • Embellish the hat with pom-poms or glitter.
