Christmas Popsicle Stick Truck

- 10-12 sticks Popsicle sticks Per truck
- 1 set Non-toxic paint Red, green, white colors
- 1 each Paintbrush For painting
- 1 each Craft glue or hot glue gun Use with adult supervision
- 1 bag Mini pom-poms For decorations
- 1 pack Googly eyes Optional
- 1 each Scissors For cutting
- 1 each Ribbon or yarn For truck decorations
- 1 set Small embellishments Stickers, sequins, etc.
Instructions
Preparation
- Find a clean, flat surface to work on.
- Lay down newspaper or a plastic covering to protect your area from paint or glue.
Building the Truck Body
- Take 6 popsicle sticks and lay them side by side to form the base.
- Glue additional popsicle sticks vertically on both ends for a sturdy structure.
- Allow the glue to dry completely.
Creating the Truck Cab
- For the front of the truck, stack 2-3 popsicle sticks side by side.
- Glue another stick vertically to one end, forming the cab shape.
Assembling Your Truck
- Attach the cab to the truck body with glue.
- Reinforce joins with extra glue if necessary.
Painting the Truck
- Paint your truck in festive colors, using a brush to coat evenly.
Adding Wheels
- Glue four mini pom-poms or cut-out circles as tires on the bottom of the truck.
Embellishing Your Truck
- Add googly eyes, festive ribbons, or any other embellishments.
