Instructions

Preparation

  • Take your fuzzy sock and make sure it’s clean and dry. If desired, add a tablespoon of cinnamon inside the sock for fragrance.
  • Begin filling the sock with uncooked rice or beans until it’s about halfway full.
  • Gather the sock at the opening and tighten it with twine or string to create a pumpkin shape.
  • Cut a small piece of green felt or fabric, roll it into a stem shape, and secure it with hot glue if needed.
  • Push the stem into the center top of your pumpkin, ensuring it’s stable.
  • Optionally, use a needle and thread to sew a simple stitch pattern around the middle of the pumpkin for added texture.
  • Display your creation on shelves, tables, or in seasonal displays.
