Instructions
Preparation
- Prepare your workspace by laying out wax paper to create a smooth surface. This will prevent any sticking as your hearts dry.
- Gather your flower petals. Arrange them visually to get a sense of how you want your heart to look.
Creating the Heart
- Pour a small amount of clear glue into a bowl.
- Start with your first petal. Dip it lightly into the glue.
- Place the glued petal onto the wax paper in a heart shape and press down gently.
- Continue adding petals, overlapping them slightly. Use tweezers for precise placement if desired.
- Cover the heart with another layer of glue if you choose to use a brush.
Drying
- Allow the heart to dry completely, which may take several hours.
Finishing Touches
- Once dry, place the heart in a soft, sunlit spot to catch the light.
- Enjoy as a decoration or as part of a centerpiece.
Notes
Store in a dry, cool place to preserve the petals. You can reuse petals for other projects.
