For the Suncatchers

  • 1 bottle Clear school glue Main adhesive for the suncatcher.
  • a few drops Food coloring or liquid watercolors For adding color to the suncatchers.
  • 1 sheet Plastic wrap or wax paper To shape the suncatchers.
  • 1 A tray or baking sheet For laying out the suncatchers.
  • 1 Scissors For cutting materials if needed.
  • Optional: Glitter, sequins, or other embellishments For added decoration and sparkle.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Cover your working area with newspaper or a tablecloth for easy cleanup.
  • Gather all materials to ensure you have everything on hand.

Creating Glue Mixture

  • In a bowl, mix clear school glue with a few drops of food coloring or liquid watercolors.
  • Stir well until the color is evenly distributed. The more you add, the more vibrant the color!

Shaping Suncatchers

  • Lay a piece of plastic wrap or wax paper on the tray.
  • Use a spoon or pipette to drop the colored glue into your desired shapes (like circles, hearts, etc.) on the plastic.

Adding Extra Flair

  • Sprinkle glitter, sequins, or any other embellishments on your glue shapes for added sparkle and texture.

Drying Time

  • Allow your suncatchers to dry completely, which may take several hours or overnight.
  • Once dry, carefully peel them off the plastic wrap.

Display

  • Hang your finished suncatchers in windows or create a mobile by attaching them to a string.
