Instructions

Preparation

  • Clear a flat surface and gather your materials.
  • Wear an apron or old clothes, as slime can be a bit messy!

Mixing

  • In a mixing bowl, pour 1 cup of clear school glue.
  • Add 1 tablespoon of baking soda and stir until fully combined.
  • Gradually mix in 2 tablespoons of contact lens solution while stirring continuously.

Customization

  • If desired, add a few drops of food coloring or glitter to the mixture.
  • Mix thoroughly until the color is uniform and the glitter is well distributed.

Kneading

  • Once the mixture begins to pull away from the bowl, use your hands to knead it.
  • This will help improve its texture and elasticity.

Storage

  • Place the finished slime into an airtight container.
  • It can be stored for several weeks if kept properly.

Notes

For scented slime, add a few drops of essential oil. Mix different colors for a marbled effect, or use glow-in-the-dark paint for nighttime fun.
