Instructions
Preparation
- Start by preparing your dyes. In small bowls, mix drops of food coloring or watercolor with water to achieve the shades you desire.
- Take a coffee filter and dip one end into the dye, allowing it to absorb the color.
- Repeat this process with additional filters, layering colors to create harmonious shades.
- Once the filters are dyed, lay them on paper towels to dry for a little while.
Crafting Flowers
- After the filters are dry, stack a few together and gently pinch the center to create a flower shape.
- Secure your flower with a pipe cleaner, twisting it tightly around the center.
- Fluff the petals open, enjoying the transformation from filter to bloom.
