- Start with one or two coffee filters. Lay them flat on a clean surface.
- Use washable markers to color your filters. Explore blending colors or creating patterns. Let your imagination guide you.
- If you have a spray bottle, lightly mist the colored filters with water. Watch the colors blend softly into one another.
- Allow the filters to dry completely. This often takes around 15 to 30 minutes.
- Once dry, stack several filters together. Pinch the center and twist, creating a flower shape.
- Take a pipe cleaner, folding it in half, and wrap it around the twisted center. Adjust the length as desired.
