  • 5 pieces Coffee filters (white or natural)
  • 1 set Water-based markers or food coloring Substitutes with fabric dyes if desired
  • 1 dish A shallow dish for water
  • 1 pieces Scissors Sharp, for easy cutting
  • 1 pieces Floral wire or pipe cleaners
  • 1 roll Green floral tape or ribbon Optional for stems
  • 1 pieces Old paintbrush or eye dropper For applying water

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Start by taking a few coffee filters. Carefully stack them, feeling the soft texture as they align.
  • Add splashes of color to the top layer using markers or food coloring, letting the colors blend.
  • Prepare a shallow dish of water and place the stacked filters gently in it.
  • Lift the filters from the water after a few moments and allow excess moisture to drip off.
  • Pinch the center of the stack together and secure it tightly using floral wire or a pipe cleaner.

Assembling the Flower

  • Carefully separate each layer of the coffee filter and pull them outward to form petals.
  • Wrap green floral tape or a pipe cleaner around the base to create a stem.

  • Stand back and admire your creation, allowing yourself to appreciate the journey taken to bring this beauty into being.
