Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Lay down a protective covering to prevent mess.
  • Gather all materials within easy reach.

Mixing Colors

  • In separate cups, combine a few tablespoons of baking soda with water to create a paste.
  • Add several drops of food coloring to each paste and stir until well mixed.

Creating Artwork

  • Using paintbrushes or cotton swabs, apply the colored baking soda paste onto your paper or canvas in any design you like.
  • Think about layering colors and shapes for added depth.

Activating the Art

  • Sprinkle some white vinegar over your baking soda artwork.
  • Watch as it fizzes and bubbles, creating exciting reactions and textures!

Finishing Up

  • Allow your piece to dry completely (this can take several hours).
  • Once dry, the artwork should be sturdy and colorful!

Notes

Experiment with blending different colors and textures. Use different tools like sponges or fingers for applying colors to achieve various effects. Try other surfaces like cardboard or canvas for unique results.
