Instructions
Preparation
- Choose your design: hearts, stars, flowers, or abstract designs. Sketch your design lightly on the transparent plastic sheet with a pencil.
- Tear or cut the colored tissue paper into various shapes: squares, strips, or circles. Arrange the pieces over your sketched design, playing with color combinations.
- Use a glue stick or Mod Podge to adhere the tissue pieces onto the transparent plastic, ensuring there are no gaps for a richer color effect.
- Once the glue has dried, carefully cut around the outer edge of your design to create the suncatcher shape. Use a craft knife for intricate designs if desired.
- Punch a small hole at the top of your suncatcher and thread a string or fishing line through the hole for easy hanging.
- Find a sunny window to display your suncatcher, and enjoy the vibrant colors dancing on your walls!
Notes
