Instructions
Preparing the Egg Carton
- Use scissors to carefully cut out sections of the egg carton. Each section can turn into a bird body.
- Trim the edges to create a rounded or more bird-like shape.
Painting Your Birds
- Pick bright, vibrant colors or any scheme you like.
- Use paintbrushes to cover each carton section in your chosen colors. Allow paint to dry completely.
Adding Features
- Cut small shapes from cardstock or extra egg carton bits for wings. Paint or decorate them.
- Glue googly eyes onto the bird bodies.
- Attach the wings and cut a small triangle from cardstock for the beak and glue it on.
Final Touches
- If using feathers, dab glue on the body and stick them on to create texture.
- Use pipe cleaners to make legs and glue them onto the bottom of the bird.
