Preparation

  • Lay down newspaper or a plastic cover to protect surfaces.
  • Gather all materials and set them within easy reach.

Coat the Globe

  • Using the paintbrush or sponge, apply a thin layer of baking soda over the entire surface of the globe.
  • Ensure even coverage, as this will create the base for your colorful reactions.

Create Colorful Solutions

  • In small bowls, mix vinegar with different colors of food coloring.
  • Optionally, you can experiment with varying amounts of food coloring for different effects.

Start the Reaction

  • Pour a small amount of one colored vinegar solution onto the baking soda-covered globe.
