Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Clear a flat surface and cover it with wax paper or plastic to prevent mess.

Mixing Colors

  • In an airtight container, combine Mod Podge or glue with food coloring or acrylic paint.
  • Experiment with different color combinations to create a palette you love.

Applying Mixture

  • Using a paintbrush, gently apply the color mixture to the underside of the jar lid.
  • Start with a thin layer and allow it to dry slightly before adding more.

Creating Patterns

  • Layer on different colors and create patterns by swirls or dots.
  • Try to vary the thickness for added texture.

Drying Process

  • Allow the lids to dry completely for several hours or overnight.
  • If using multiple colors, you may need to dry each layer separately.

Final Touches

  • Inspect your work and add any embellishments like glitter before sealing.
  • Once everything is dry, your colorful stained-glass lids are ready to be used!
