Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a mixing bowl, combine 2 cups of granulated sugar, 1/2 cup of corn syrup, and 1/4 cup of water. Mix until well blended; the mixture should be thick, yet pourable.
  • Divide the sugar mixture into small cups and add a few drops of food coloring to each cup, mixing well to create vibrant colors.

Shaping

  • Line your baking sheet or wax paper. Fill the piping bags with your colored mixtures.
  • Squeeze the sugar mixture onto the surface, creating shapes like circles, squares, or swirls. Build up layers to create height.

Setting and Assembling

  • Allow the sugar shapes to dry for several hours or until hardened.
  • Once shapes are dry, carefully peel them off the paper and stack the pieces to form towers, using a bit of leftover mixture as glue if needed.

Decorating

  • Use edible glitter or sprinkles to add sparkle and charm to your towers.
