  • 1/2 cup dish soap Choose a gentle brand suitable for children.
  • 1/4 cup water Water is added gradually for consistency.

Preparation

  • Find a flat surface to work on, preferably covered with newspapers or a tablecloth for easy cleanup.
  • In a mixing bowl, add 1 cup of cornstarch and pour in 1/2 cup of dish soap.
  • Use a spoon or spatula to mix the two ingredients until they are fully combined, resembling a thick paste.
  • Gradually add 1/4 cup of water to the mixture and continue to stir until the dough reaches a dough-like consistency.
  • If desired, add a few drops of food coloring and/or glitter, and mix until the color is evenly distributed.
  • Once the dough is at the right consistency, it’s ready to be molded into shapes or figures.

Notes

If the dough is too sticky, add more cornstarch; if too dry, add more water. You can also mix in essential oils for aroma.
