Instructions
Preparation
- In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of cornstarch and 2 cups of baking soda. Mix thoroughly with a wooden spoon.
- Gradually pour in 1.5 cups of water while continuously stirring. Optionally, add food coloring for a festive touch.
Cooking
- Transfer the mixture into a saucepan and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until it thickens to a dough-like consistency.
- Once thickened, remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
Kneading and Shaping
- Knead the cooled dough by hand until smooth.
- Shape the dough into ornaments or fun creations. Allow to dry for at least 24 hours before use.
