Preparation

  • In a large mixing bowl, add 2 cups of cornstarch.
  • Gradually pour in 1 cup of conditioner.

Mixing

  • Using a spoon or spatula, start mixing the cornstarch and conditioner together.
  • Mix until it starts to form a dough-like consistency.

Adding Color

  • If you wish to add color, drizzle a few drops of food coloring into the mixture.
  • Continue to knead the dough with your hands until the color is evenly distributed.

Texturing

  • If the dough is too crumbly, add a little more conditioner, a small amount at a time.
  • Knead until you achieve a perfect fluffy and moldable dough.

Storage

  • Once you’re happy with your snow cone dough, place it in an airtight container to keep it fresh.

Notes

Try different types of conditioner for varying scents and textures. Mix in glitter or small beads for added sensory appeal. Replace cornstarch with flour for a different consistency. Use flavored or scented conditioners as an alternative.
