Ingredients
  

Materials

  • 1 lb Soy wax or beeswax
  • 4 pieces Candle wicks
  • 1 oz Essential oils or fragrance oils (like peppermint or cedar) Use about 1 ounce of fragrance oil per pound of wax for strong scent.
  • various Glass jars or tin containers Choose according to preference.
  • 1 piece Double boiler or microwave-safe container For melting the wax.
  • 1 piece Stirring utensil (spoon or stick)
  • 1 piece Thermometer (optional) Recommended for measuring wax temperature.
  • 1 piece Scissors
  • 2 pieces Adhesive (for securing wicks)

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Select glass jars or tins for your candles.
  • Secure the wicks using a small amount of melted wax or adhesive at the bottom center of each container.

Melting the Wax

  • Measure approximately 1 lb of wax per 4 average-sized candle tins.
  • Melt the wax using a double boiler or microwave, stirring frequently until fully melted.

Adding Fragrance

  • Allow the melted wax to cool slightly (about 180-190°F) before adding essential or fragrance oils.
  • Stir well to ensure the scent is evenly distributed.

Pouring the Wax

  • Slowly pour the wax into your prepared containers, leaving some space at the top.
  • Use a pencil or wick holder to center the wick and keep it straight.

Setting the Candle

  • Allow the candles to cool completely, which may take several hours.
  • Once solid, trim the wick to about 1/4 inch above the wax.

Notes

Customize colors by adding candle dye and experiment with different shapes and materials for containers. Optional: Include dried herbs or flowers for aesthetics.
