  • 1/2 cup Warm water For melting the crayons
  • 1 teaspoon Baking soda To combine with glue

Instructions

Preparation

  • Peel and break the crayons into smaller pieces, about 1-inch long.

Melt the Crayons

  • In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the broken crayon pieces and warm water. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until completely melted.

  • In another bowl, mix the white school glue and baking soda until combined.
  • Slowly pour the melted crayon mixture into the glue and baking soda mixture. Stir thoroughly to combine.

Activate the Slime

  • Gradually add the contact lens solution to the mixture. Stir until it starts to pull away from the sides of the bowl.

Knead the Slime

  • Once formed, knead the slime by hand for a few moments. If too sticky, add more contact solution.

Notes

Store slime in an airtight container. Try different ratios of glue and baking soda for various consistencies. Optional additions include glitter or essential oils for scent.
