- 1 piece Cooling tray To let the melted crayon cool and solidify.
Instructions
Preparation
- Preheat your oven to a low temperature, about 200 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Unwrap the crayons and admire the colors as you peel away the paper.
- Using a grater, shave the crayons into small pieces.
Assembly
- Arrange the crayon shavings in each mold of the muffin tin or silicone stars.
- Carefully place the molds into the oven.
- Check on the melted crayons after about 10 to 15 minutes, and remove from the oven once fully melted.
- Allow the melted crayon shapes to cool on a tray.
Finishing Touches
- Once cooled, gently pop the sun catchers out of the molds.

Notes
These sun catchers are best kept indoors to avoid fading from direct sun exposure. They can last a long time if stored in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
