  • 5 pieces Pipettes or cotton swabs For applying colors.
  • 10 sheets Paper towels For drying.
  • 1 pair Scissors For cutting filters into flower shapes.
  • 5 pieces Pipe cleaners or floral wire To create stems.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Lay down some paper towels or an old tablecloth to catch any drips from your colors.

Mix Colors

  • In containers, mix food coloring or liquid watercolors with water, creating a range of hues.

Layer Filters

  • Take a few coffee filters and stack them to create depth in your flowers.

Apply Colors

  • Using the pipettes or cotton swabs, gently drop colors onto the filters.

Mist with Water

  • If using a spray bottle, gently mist the filters after applying color.

Dry Filters

  • Carefully lay your colored filters on paper towels to dry.

Shape Blooms

  • Once dry, use scissors to cut the filters into flower shapes.

Create Stems

  • Take pipe cleaners or floral wire and twist them into stems.

Notes

Store flowers in a box lined with tissue paper to preserve their shapes and colors. Consider misting them with water to revive colors when needed.
