Craft Materials

  • 1 sheet Clear plastic or wooden shapes (stars, hearts, etc.)
  • 1 bottle White glue or mod podge
  • 1 bag Colored crystals or gems (e.g., acrylic, glass)
  • 1 tool Paintbrush or sponge applicator
  • 1 piece Tweezers (optional for precision)
  • 1 piece Wax paper or a drop cloth (to protect your workspace)
  • 1 can Sealer spray (for a glossy finish)

Instructions

Preparing Your Workspace

  • Clear a large area and lay down wax paper or a drop cloth to protect your surface.
  • Gather all materials within reach for easy access.

Applying Glue

  • Choose the plastic or wooden shape you want to decorate.
  • Spread the glue using a paintbrush or sponge applicator to coat one side of the shape evenly.
  • The glue will become slightly tacky as you apply it, indicating it's ready for the crystals.

Adding Crystals

  • Gently sprinkle or place colored crystals on the glued area. Use tweezers for precision if desired.
  • Lightly press the crystals into the glue to secure them in place.

Finishing Up

  • Allow your creation to dry completely; this may take several hours.
  • After drying, spray with a sealer for a glossy finish if desired.

Notes

Combine various sizes and shapes of crystals for unique designs. Experiment with seasonal shapes for added charm. Incorporate LED lights behind transparent shapes for an enchanting effect.
