Instructions
Preparation
- Twist green pipe cleaners into the shape of a tree, adding smaller branches for a fuller look.
- In a bowl, combine 1/2 cup of Borax with 2 cups of boiling water and stir until the Borax fully dissolves.
- If desired, add a few drops of food coloring to the solution.
Assembly
- Attach a piece of string to the top of your tree-shaped pipe cleaner and suspend it in the jar, ensuring it doesn't touch the sides or bottom.
- Pour the Borax solution carefully into the jar, covering the tree completely.
Waiting
- Place the jar in a quiet, undisturbed area and allow it to sit for 24 hours for crystals to form.
Reveal Your Creation
- After 24 hours, gently remove the tree from the jar and let it dry. Admire your sparkling crystal-infused Christmas tree!
