Instructions
Preparation
- Clear a flat surface and lay down newspaper to catch any spills.
- Gather all materials for easy access.
Mixing
- Put on safety gloves.
- In a mixing cup, combine equal parts of resin and hardener as per package instructions.
- Stir meticulously for about 3-5 minutes until fully blended.
Color and Glitter
- If desired, mix in color pigments and glitter to your resin for added charm.
- Stir well to distribute evenly.
Molding
- Slowly pour the resin mixture into the heart mold.
- Make sure to fill the mold evenly without overfilling.
Embellishments
- If using decorative items, place them in the resin while it’s still liquid.
- Ensure they are evenly distributed and submerged.
Curing
- Cover the mold to prevent dust from settling on the surface.
- Allow it to cure per the manufacturer’s instructions (usually 24 hours).
Finishing
- Once fully cured, gently remove the heart from the mold.
- If needed, sand edges with sandpaper for a smooth finish.
