Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 pack Clear gelatin (or agar-agar)
  • to taste Food coloring (optional) Use for adding color to the gelatin mixture
  • 1 set Heart-shaped silicone molds
  • 1 piece String or ribbon for hanging Cut into 6-inch lengths
  • 1 piece Scissors For cutting string
  • to taste Non-stick spray (optional) For easy removal of hearts from molds

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Gather all materials and find a clean, flat workspace.
  • Lay down newspaper or a craft mat to catch any spills.

Mixing

  • In a bowl, combine the clear gelatin with cold water according to the package instructions.
  • Stir until fully dissolved. If using food coloring, add it now for a pop of color.

Molding

  • Lightly spray heart-shaped silicone molds with non-stick spray for easy removal.
  • Carefully pour the gelatin mixture into the molds, filling them almost to the top.

Setting

  • Allow the molds to sit at room temperature for 1–2 hours, or until completely firm.
  • For best results, refrigerate for quicker setting.

Unmolding

  • Once set, gently flex the silicone molds to release the crystal hearts.
  • Use scissors to cut a piece of string or ribbon about 6 inches long.

Finishing

  • Poke a small hole through the top of each heart and thread the string through.
  • Tie a knot at the end to create a secure loop for hanging.

Notes

Add glitz with glitter or beads, infuse with essential oils for fragrance, and use various molds for different shapes.
