Ingredients

  • 1 cup water Room temperature
  • 2 tablespoons gelatin powder Unflavored
  • 1/2 cup corn syrup Can be substituted with agar-agar for a vegan version

Instructions
 

Prepare the Mixture

  • In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of water with 2 tablespoons of gelatin powder.
  • Whisk or stir until the gelatin is fully dissolved, ensuring there are no lumps.

Add Corn Syrup

  • Gradually add in 1/2 cup of corn syrup to the mixture, stirring continuously.

Color it Up

  • Incorporate a few drops of food coloring. Mix colors to create unique shades.

Set in Molds

  • Carefully pour the mixture into your chosen molds or containers.
  • Allow it to rest at room temperature until it solidifies, usually about 4-6 hours. For quick setting, refrigerate for 1-2 hours.

Enjoy Your Creation

  • Once set, gently remove your crystal jelly from the molds and enjoy!

Notes

Experiment with different food coloring combinations for unique shades and consider adding essential oils for an aromatic touch. You can also try other types of molds to create varied shapes and sizes.
