- 1 cup Borax powder
- 2 cups Water Boiled
- 1 pack Pipe cleaners (in any color)
- 1 Glass jar (clean and dry)
- 1 String
- 1 Pencil or chopstick

Preparation
- Shape your pipe cleaners into star shapes, ensuring they fit in the jar.
Solution Preparation
- Boil about 2 cups of water in a kettle or saucepan.
- For every cup of boiling water, stir in 3 tablespoons of Borax until fully dissolved.
- Add food coloring if desired.
Assembly
- Tie a piece of string to your shaped star and suspend it in the jar using a pencil or chopstick.
Crystal Growth
- Place the jar in a quiet location and wait for crystal formation.
- Let it sit overnight for maximum crystal growth.
Finishing Touches
- After 24 hours, gently remove the star from the solution and let it dry on a paper towel.
