Instructions
Preparation
- Boil water in a saucepan.
- Slowly add sugar to the boiling water while stirring continuously until fully dissolved to create the crystal-growing solution.
Customization
- If desired, add a few drops of food coloring to the solution.
Pouring and Cooling
- Carefully pour the hot sugar solution into the clear glass or plastic container.
- Let the solution cool for a few minutes.
Crystal Growing
- To enhance growth, tie a string to a toothpick, dip it into the solution, and rest the toothpick across the top of the container.
- Set the solution in a safe, undisturbed place for several days.
