Ingredients
Craft Materials
- 2-3 pieces Cupcake liners (various colors/patterns) Choose different sizes and colors for variety.
- 1 piece Scissors For cutting the pipe cleaner.
- 2 pieces Pipe cleaners To create antennae.
- 1 package Googly eyes For decorating the butterflies' faces.
- 1 bottle Glue (craft glue or glue stick) For securing materials.
- 1 set Markers or crayons For additional designs on the wings.
- 1 optional Sequins, stickers, or glitter For embellishing the butterflies.
Instructions
Preparation
- Choose 2-3 cupcake liners of different sizes and colors.
- Flatten them out to create a smoother surface for the wings.
Creating the Butterfly Wings
- Layer the cupcake liners: Place the larger liner on the bottom, followed by a smaller one on top.
- Pinch the center of the liners together to form wings and secure them with a piece of tape.
Adding Antennae
- Take a pipe cleaner and cut it into two equal lengths.
- Bend them slightly into a 'V' shape.
- Attach the pipe cleaners to the top of the wings by twisting them or using glue.
Decorating
- Glue googly eyes onto the front of the cupcake liners.
- Use markers or crayons to add facial features or additional designs on the wings.
- Optional: Enhance with sequins, stickers, or glitter for extra sparkle.
