Ingredients
  

Essential Oils

  • 5-10 drops Base note essential oil (e.g., sandalwood, vanilla) Choose a base note that lasts longer.
  • 3-5 drops Middle note essential oil (e.g., lavender, jasmine)
  • 1-2 drops Top note essential oil (e.g., citrus, mint) Top notes provide the initial scent.

Carrier Oil

  • 1 bottle Carrier oil (e.g., sweet almond oil, jojoba oil, or coconut oil) This dilutes the essential oils.

Materials

  • 1 each Small glass bottles For blending and storing the custom scents.
  • 1 each Dropper For accurate measuring of essential oils.
  • 1 each Funnel To help pour liquids into bottles.
  • 1 each Labels For identification of each custom scent.
  • 1 each Mixing bowl For blending the oils.
  • 1 each Measuring spoons

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Choose your base note, middle note, and top note from the essential oils.
  • Prepare a clean mixing bowl.
  • Start with 5-10 drops of your base note essential oil.
  • Add 3-5 drops of your middle note essential oil.
  • Finish with 1-2 drops of your top note essential oil.
  • Stir gently to mix the oils well.
  • Using a funnel, pour the blended oils into the glass bottle.
  • Fill the rest of the bottle with carrier oil, leaving a little space at the top.
  • Cap the bottle securely and give it a gentle shake.
  • Label your creation for easy identification.
  • Let your custom scent sit for at least 24 hours to allow the scents to meld together.

Notes

Experiment with different essential oils and carrier oils to create unique scents. Always perform a patch test when using new essential oils on the skin.
