Instructions
Preparation
- Draw a star shape on your transparency sheet using a ruler and pencil.
- Aim for a size that suits your window; bigger stars catch more light.
Cutting Out
- Carefully cut out the star shape with scissors.
- Be sure to create a clean edge for best results.
Decoration
- Select dried flowers, leaves, or colorful tissue paper.
- If using tissue paper, consider ripping it into small shapes for a more organic look.
Design Arrangement
- Layer the decorations on one half of the star cutout.
- Experiment with colors and shapes until you’re satisfied with the arrangement.
Sealing
- Cover the decorated half with another transparency sheet or wax paper.
- Use clear tape or glue to secure all edges, sealing the design inside.
Hanging Preparation
- Use a hole punch to create a hole at the top of the star.
- This will allow you to hang it later.
Final Assembly
- Cut a length of string or fishing line.
- Loop it through the hole and secure it to create the hanging feature.
Notes
