Ingredients

  • ½ cup liquid dish soap (preferably clear or lightly colored) Choose any dish soap you prefer.
  • ¼ cup cornstarch Adjust as needed for consistency.

Preparation

  • In a mixing bowl, pour ½ cup of liquid dish soap.
  • Gradually add ¼ cup of cornstarch to the soap.

Mixing

  • Use a spoon or spatula to mix the ingredients until smooth.
  • Expect it to be slightly lumpy at first; mix until smooth.

Color Addition

  • If desired, incorporate a few drops of food coloring.
  • Stir until the color is evenly distributed.

Adjust Consistency

  • If the mixture is too sticky, add more cornstarch (1 tablespoon at a time).
  • If too dry, add more dish soap (a teaspoon at a time).

Kneading

  • Once mixed, use your hands to knead the slime.
  • Enjoy the stretchy, smooth texture!

Notes

For a scented slime, add a few drops of essential oil. Consider adding glitter or small beads for texture. Experiment with different brands or scents of dish soap.
