Ingredients
  

Base Ingredients

  • 1 cup dish soap Any brand of liquid dish soap can be used.
  • 1/2 cup cornstarch Helps to thicken the slime.
  • 1 tablespoon water Adds softness to the slime.

Optional Additions

  • as desired drops food coloring To customize slime color.
  • as desired amount glitter For a sparkling effect.
  • as desired amount essential oils To create scented slime.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a mixing bowl, pour in 1 cup of dish soap.
  • Gradually add 1/2 cup of cornstarch while stirring with a spoon or spatula.
  • Add 1 tablespoon of water to the mixture to help soften the slime.
  • If desired, add a few drops of food coloring and mix thoroughly until you achieve your preferred color.
  • Once mixed, use your hands to knead the slime until it comes together.
  • Place your slime in an airtight container when not in use to keep it fresh.

Notes

For variations, add glitter for sparkle, mix in essential oils for scent, or experiment with the amount of cornstarch to adjust texture.
