Ingredients
  

Materials

  • 1 bottle White school glue or clear glue
  • 3 drops Food coloring (red, blue, and white) Keep the colors separate for different designs.
  • 1 sheet Wax paper or parchment paper To protect your working area.
  • 1 Piping bag or squeeze bottle
  • 1 pair Scissors
  • 1 Paintbrush (optional) For spreading or blending colors.
  • 1 pack Glitter (optional) For added sparkle.

Preparation

  • Find a clean, flat surface to work on.
  • Lay down wax paper or parchment paper to protect your working area.

Mixing Glue

  • In a small bowl, mix your white school glue with a few drops of food coloring.
  • Keep the colors separate for creating different designs (red, white, and blue).

Designing

  • Sketch out simple star or flag shapes on a piece of paper to use as a guide.
  • Alternatively, freehand your designs for a more whimsical look.

Piping Designs

  • Fill your piping bag or squeeze bottle with the colored glue.
  • Carefully pipe the glue onto the wax paper, following your designs.
  • Use a paintbrush to spread or blend colors if desired.

Drying

  • Allow the glue designs to dry completely (2-4 hours or overnight).
  • Once dry, gently peel the clings from the wax paper.

Displaying Clings

  • Simply press your window clings onto clean windows.
  • They stick beautifully without additional adhesives!

Notes

Customize designs to your liking, including patterns like stripes or polka dots. You may swap out materials such as using clear liquid soap mixed with cornstarch if glue is unavailable. For a sparkle effect, sprinkle glitter on wet glue designs.
