Ingredients
For the Aroma Stones
- 1 cup baking soda
- 1/2 cup cornstarch
- 1/2 cup white vinegar
- 10-20 drops essential oil (your choice) Choose your favorite essential oils for unique fragrances.
Equipment
- 1 set silicone molds (shapes of your choice)
- 1 mixing bowl
- 1 spoon or spatula
- 1 airtight container for storage
Instructions
Preparation
- In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of baking soda and 1/2 cup of cornstarch.
- Gradually add 1/2 cup of white vinegar while stirring to avoid fizzing.
- Mix until a thick paste forms; enjoy watching it bubble and combine!
Adding Scents
- Add 10-20 drops of your favorite essential oil to the mixture.
- Stir thoroughly to ensure the oil is evenly distributed.
Molding
- Spoon the mixture into your silicone molds.
- Press down to eliminate air bubbles and ensure they are packed tight.
Drying
- Allow the stones to dry for 24-48 hours in a cool, dry area.
- Notice the gradual hardening and change in texture.
Finishing Touches
- Once dry, carefully remove the stones from the molds.
- Place them in decorative bowls or hang them in areas where you want a pleasant scent.
Notes
Experiment with different essential oil blends for unique fragrances. You can also add natural colorants or dried herbs for extra texture and scent.
